"The Unruly Woman" by Kathleen Rowe is a feminist analysis of film and television's portrayal of women in comedy. I've enjoyed looking at this critically as it is background reading for my thesis.

"The House of Silk" by Anthony Horowitz is a twisted and ananlytical mystery true to the original Sherlock Holmes' stories. It was a fun read for a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle fan like me.
